Everything you need to know is within you. Listen. Feel. Trust the body’s wisdom.
-Dan Millman

The way I look at Wellness Coaching is like this…

I am here to come alongside you and guide you through all parts of health and nutrition. This includes food, diet, movement/exercise, your relationships, your career, and every other choice you make in your life that impacts your overall health and well-being.

I am not a doctor and will never take the place of one. But what I will do is work to empower you to be your own best advocate and to tap into your body’s inner wisdom.

I work through a truly holistic approach. And when you start to make changes for the better in your life, you might start to notice things like feeling at ease in your body, your clothes fitting better, your skin getting glow-ier, your hair has more volume to it, your relationships feel more full. The bottom line is that you are making choices that are serving you.

Let’s say it’s 3pm on a Tuesday and you are feeling fried and exhausted and you open the cabinet for a cookie. With a program like this that taps deep into your inner wisdom, you’ll be able to recognize that this “reach for the cookie” moment is nothing but a reaction to feeling tired and frustrated.

So instead of eating the cookie you’ll intuitively know to take a few moments and ask yourself:

“What is it that my body, mind, and soul truly need in this moment?”

Sure, it might be the cookie. But chances are what you really need might be something like a nice long bath, a few minutes on your yoga mat, a short unplugging from all your mobile devices, or just a good old fashioned hug.

So do you see what I mean when I say that you might lose weight? When you work with me, weight loss is never the primary goal.

When you enter into this program, you’re going to first learn to accept yourself exactly as you are, in each moment, every day of your life. Regardless of weight, shape, or size.

Each person comes to me with a different story. But  we all use things in our lives to distract us. Things like:

  • Laziness
  • Addiction
  • Food
  • Alcohol
  • Drugs
  • TV
  • Sex
  • Relationships

That’s not to say that all of the above are bad, it’s just that we have gotten so accustomed to distracting ourselves that we lose touch with:

  1. Who we really are
  2. What we really want out of life

Through a nutritional coaching program with me, you’ll learn to clear out the clutter. Whether that’s giving a total makeover to the way you eat or your beliefs about yourself or both – we are going to remove that clutter so that …

You get more clear on who you really are at your core.

You get more clear on what you really want out of this life you have been given.

We’ll take a look at your job, your relationships, the way you spend your free time, any spiritual practices you may already have or have an interest in.

And yes, we’ll most often start with food because that is where a lot of our underlying “stuff” starts to come to the surface.
